is designed to feature both superior performance
quality and maximum flexibility. Here are two
units - base and tonearm - which prove our
point.

UA-7045 NEW GIMBAL SUPPORT TONEARM
This very high quality JVC unit features .high
sensitivity and long-lasting ruggedness. It per-
mits l0w-mass/high~compliance cartridges to
accurately track even the most complex groove
undulations. Operation and installation are easy.

JVC's exclusive New Gimbal Support
This ultra-effective support system converges
the effects of forces on both the horizontal and
vertical planes on one point equidistant from
beth the horizontal and vertical bearings. Thus
in principle the New Gumbal Support works like
a onepoint support and is therefore very sensi-
tive. However, its performance is far better than
conventional gimbal or one-point types since it
uses adjustment-free bearing units.

The dynamics of the support remain constant
even after heavy use because of the use of
micro-finished radial bearings.

Chucking Lock-Type Headshell Connector

The tube of the neck cylinder is tapered on the
headshell connector of the UA-7045. This
means that when the plug nut is tightened, the
neck cylinder chucks the internal cylinder

firmly. The headshell connector thereby fea-
tures a firm and solid connection (as does the
integral-type headshell connector) while retain-
ing the convenience of the universal type.

Lifter Point for Smooth Descent

Unlike conventional arm lifters, this one allows
the stylus tip to descend on the desired groove
precisely, without sidemys stagger."

Other Features
IRESONANCE-FREE HEADSHELL - Ferm-
ed in one piece under 10 times the usual

pressure, it achieves resonance-free characteris-
tics for better performance.

IDAMPED TUBULAR ARM - Light damping
material fills the arm pipe to prevent the arm
from resonating at a particular frequency.

I ANTI-SKATING KNOB -- Located on top of
the support column, the large anti-skating knob
is easy to adjust.

IARM ELEVATION FINE ADJUSTOR - Its
helicoid oonstrUCtion, built at the base of the
support, permits adjustment of the arm height
while a record is being played.

IARM REST LOCK - A simple twist of a
knob locks the arm. Thanks to a built-in spring,
it will never loosen.

.EASY ZERO BALANCING - Since the dial
for stylus pressure adjustment turns as the
tounterweight itself turns, obtaining the desired
setting is easy.
