IMPORTANT (In the United Kingdom)
Mains Supply (AC 240 V», 50 Hz only)

IMPORTANT

Do not make any connection to the Larger Terminal coded E
or Green. The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with following code:

:= Blue to N (Neutral) or Black
Brown to L (Live) or Red

If these colours do not correspond with the terminal identifi-
cations of your plug, connect as follows:

Blue wire to terminal coded N (Neutral) or coloured Black.
Brown wire to terminal coded L (Live) or coloured Red.

If in doubt - consult a competent electrician.

Note

We recommend that you should disconnect the AC cord from
the outlet.

Power switch on the Front Panel

This switch does not shut off the power for the memory circuit
which works to keep the preset stations memorized; power
consumption is very low (less than 10 W), but if you wish to
shut the power off completely, disconnect the AC cord from
the outlet. The memorized programmes will be maintained for
a couple of days.

Model for U.K. have a MAIN POWER switch on the rear
panel, switching this button OFF also disconnects all power
to the unit (See page 4, item 12)

Netzschalter an der Frontplatte

Dieser Schalter schaltet die Speicherungs-Schaltung, die vor-
eingestellte Sender speichert, nicht aus. Die Leistungsaufnahme
dieser Schaltung ist sehr gering (weniger als 10W), aber wenn
Sie das Gerat vollig ausschalten mochten, trennen Sie das
Netzkabel von der Steckdose. Das gespeicherte Programm
wird fiir zwei Tage beibehalten. Die fiir GroBbritannien be-
stimmten Modelle besitzen an der Riickseite des Gerates einen
Haupt-Netzschalter (MAIN POWER), der bei Stellung OFF
das Gerat vollkommen vom Netz trennt. (Siehe 3.5, Punkt 12)

Remarque:

Cet interrupteur ne coupe pas I'alimentation du circuit de
mémoire qui fonctionne pour garder en mémoire les stations
préréglées; sa consommation est trés faible (inferieure a 10
watts), mais dans le cas of; vous désireriez couper totalement
l'alimentation, débrancher le cordon d'alimentation de la prise
secteur. Les stations mises en mémoire seront conservées
pendant plusieurs iours.

L'interrupteur d'alimentation générale (MAIN POWER) des
modeles pour le Royaume-Uni figure sur le panneau arriére.
En mettant cet interrupteur sur OFF, l'alimentation générale
de tout l'appareil est mise hors circuit. (Voir page 5, item 12.)
