FEATURES

1. The latest IC production technology is used in manufacturing this
super lightweight moving coil. (The microcoil is formed on a wafer
1 mm square; new production technology ensures its high precision
and high density while increasing the uniformity of finished products.
The microcoil and wafer together weigh about 1/100th the weight of
a conventional coil) so as to reduce the mass of the moving system.
2. In this direct coupled moving coil cartridge, the microcoil is in front
of the cantilever, very close to the stylus.
0 Direct coupling means that movements of the coil are almost
exactly the same as the movements of the stylus tip so that:
1) The response is flat and there is very little phase lag.
2) It is only slightly affected by changes in the temperature of
the cantilever or damper.
3. The microcoil has an open core so that the cartridge is free from
magnetostriction.
