INTRODUCTION

The special parts supplied with this kit will be
used with the Experimental Chassis (Model
EU-lSA) to complete the experiments in the book
"Electronics For Scientists."

Common types of tubes and transistors areused
in this kit. These same tubes can also be used
as replacements in several other units in the
EU-lOOA system, including the Servo Recorder
and Operational Amplifier, The chopper in this
kit can be used as areplacementfor the chopper
in the EUW-ZOA Recorder and in many experi~
mental circuits.

Also included in this kit are all necessaryparts
for a Utility Amplifier, including the speaker.
This Utility Amplifier is intended to give students

practice in soldering and layout of standard
parts, as well as to provide an auxiliary ampli-
fier for other experiments, The EUA-l4-1
accessory kit, available separately, contains
all parts listed in the Parts List for the
Utility Amplifier,

This kit is one of the units included in the Malm-
stadt-Enke EU-lOOA Instrumentation Labora-
tory. It is available as an individual unit, or it
can be purchased at a special group price
when included with the total EU-lOOA System.
The units of the complete EU-lOOA Laboratory
Station are useful not only in learning elec-
tronic concepts, but also in research and de-
velopment, and control instrumentation,
