Service Hint Before detaching the plug-in connections when removing the CD drive mechanism a protective solder joint must be provided on the circuit board of the laser pick-up to avoid the laser diode being destroyed by static charges. When fitting a new laser pick-up the protec- tive solder joint provided in the factory must be removed before inserting the plug-in con- nections.
