Ewlution in Progress
The evolution of an idea is an incredibly
dynamic process Espeaally when you
are imprOVIng on an already good idea.
Such is the case with the Genesis line of
Imaging Modules
Whether considering the IM78300/
IM8200 0r IM752OO Imaging Modules,
the result is one of extraordinary pertore
mance And so it goes With the latest in
that evolutionary process the 83OOF and
82OOF fioorstanding models
Echorng the same technological ad-
vances and dwgn philosophies as the
rest ot the line, these new models deliver
an exqui3ite soundstage. They exhibit a
sweeping dynamic range and tonal

authenticny that IS enduringly faithtul to
the original source.
The 2-way 8200F Imaging Module
combines an 8 injection-molded Kevlar/
polypropylene wooter and the unique
Gene5is circular ribbon tweeter in a
stately tioorstanding enclosure
The 3-way 83OOF Imaging Module
adds a 3 midrange driver with a titae
nium/smcon-carbide dome to this
complement of transducers
Both models are available in high,
gloss piano black or Italian Rosewood
These graceful floorstanaing Imaging
Modules promise to articulate your music
With exacting accuracy and style

ENCLOSURE STYLE IN ME ROUND.
The distinctive shape of the 8200F and
8300F Imaging Modules is much more than
merely cosmetic It is at the heart of their
design concept
Like the architectural stmplrcrty at an arch-
way, the round configuration in the rear of the
speakers distributes support across the entire
enclosure wall. Backwall flexing is greatly
minimized, and overall cabinet strength is
increased. The design also eliminates multiple
parallel surfaces, the primary cause of distor»
tion in boxelike enclosures.
The cabinet wall is a unique composite of
three layers of varying densities and Vibrational
characteristics Each layer Within the wall
offsets resonances from the others tor a
sonically-inert superstructure.
DESIGNATED DRIVERS.
GeneSIS imaging Module transducers are a
delicate study in perfection. From the exotic
aerospaceinspired Kevlar/polypropylene
woofer to the exclusive planar ribbon tweeter,
each is a near-perfect piston designed to
faithfully duplicate its dedicated range within
the frequency spectrum.
By applying lightweight, super-strong
Kevlar into a flexible polypropylene base,
Genesrs woofers provrde a rigid, yet responsive
cone that handle boss transrents with precrsron
and ease Terms like blurring' and mushi-
ness are srmply not part at the vocabulary
The dome midrange driver used in the
83OOF incorporates a large 3" voice call that
drives a titanium/Silicon-carbide diaphragm.
A large dome enhances midrange definmon
and dynamic range for exceedingly natural
reproduction in critical middle frequencies.
The planar tweeter utilizes a circular, ultra,
thin (.0005") ribbon membrane to accurately
react to elusive high-trequency transients.
Response is rapid and uniform with little con
cern for inertia. In fact, the tweeter smoome
articulates trequenmes well beyond BOkHz
wrlhout the breakup modes common with
dome-type tweeters.
THE UNIQUE ENCLOSURE REVISITED.
The improved dispersion characteristics of the
8300F and 8200F is further enhanced by the
ingenious design of the enclosure. The front
baffle is covered with a special material that
absorbs inital reflections emitted by the drivers
that can cause critical cancellations in the
musrcal signal.
Because the cabinet gently sweeps away
from the front baffle, sound is able to disperse
from the drivers unimpeded. This allows little
