Austausch des Tonabneh mersystems

Das Komplette Tonabnehmersystem konnen Sie vom Tonarm
Idseri, indem Sie den Tonarmgriff nach hinten drucken. Halten
Sue dahei das Tonabnehmersystem test. da es nach Offnen der
Verriegelung herunter fallt (Fig, 1).

Der Tonarmgrift um sich tedoch nur nach hinten fu'hren,wenn
die Sicherungsschraube "S" zuvor entfernt wurde (Fig. 2).
Zum Wiedereinsetzen legen Sie das Tonabnehmersystem so von
unten an den Tonarmkopf, dais die beiden Vorderkanten biindig
sind. Bitte achten Ste darauf, dafs das Tonabnehmersystem ab-
solut plan am Tonarmkopf anliegt, bevor Sie den Tonarrngriff
ZLir Arretierung nach i/orneziehen Eventuell Sicheriingsschrau-
be (Fig. 2/8) wieder eindrehen

Abtastnadel

Die Abtastnadel ist durch den Abspielvorgangnatijrlichem Ver-
schleilL ausgesetu Wir empfehlen daher eine Uberpriifung der
Diamant-Abtastnadel theses Tonabndtrnersystems nach ca.
300 Spielstunden lhr Fachhandler wird dies gem kostenlos fiir
Ste tun. Abgenutzte oder beschadigte (abgesplitterte) Abtast-
nadeln rneilSeln die Modulation aus den Schallrillen und zerstd
ren die Schallplatteri. Verwenden Sie bei Ersatzbedarf nur die
in den technischen Daten angefuhrte Original-Nadeitype. Nach»
geahrnte Abtastnadeln verursachen horbare Qualitatsverluste
und erhohte Schallplattenabnutzung,

Denken Sie bitte daran, dais der Nadeltr'ager mlt dern Abtast-
stift aus Diamant aus physikalischen Griinden sehr grazil und
deshalb zwan laufig emptindlich gegen Stols, Schlag Oder un-
kontrollierte erflhrung sein mufs,

Austausch oer Abtastnadel

Ziehen Sie einfach den unteren Teil des Tonabnehmersystems
nach unten ab (Fig. 3). Die Abtastnadel kann jetzt von lhrem
Fachhandier Oder der Dual Kundendienststelle Uberpruft und,
wenn notig. ersetzt werden.

Achten Sie beim Einsetzen darauf, daB Sie die feine Abtast-
nadel nicht bertihren.

Removal of the pick up system

You can release the complete pick up system from the tone
arm by pushing the tonearm grip backwards. At the same time,
hold the pick up system as it falls out after the catch is one
ned (Fig ll

However, the tonearrn grip can only be moved backwards if
the locking screw "S has been removed previously (Fig. 2).
When relitting. place the cartridge onto the head shell from
below so that both front edges are flush. Please ensure that all
sections of the cartridge are in contact with the head shell
before pullinq the tonearm lift to the front in order to lock it
If necessary, you should screw in the safety screw (Fig. 2/5)

Stylus

The stylus IS subimt to natural wear as a result of playback.We
recommend theretoredtecking the diamond stylus of this pick-
up cartridge after approximately 300 playing hours. Your spe-
cialist dealer Will be pleased to do this for you free of charge,
Worn or damaged (splintered) Styli will chisel the modulation
out of the grooves and destroy your records.

Please horirgn that the stylus holder With a diamond stylus, due

Replacing the stylus

Simply pull the lower part of the cartridge down (Fig. 3). The
stylus can then be checked by your dealer or Dual service
outlet and, if necessary. replaced. Make sure that you do not
touch ihe fine stylus end when replacing it.
