WHAT THE FX 67
STEREO TURBO CHORUS DOES

The new Stereo Turbo Chorus
gives a rich, thick, ebullient chorusing
effect not available before from a single
chorus unit. The FX 67 Stereo Turbo
Chorus has two completely independent
chorus circuits. These chorus circuits are
varied by a unique chorus modulation
scheme and mixed together which makes
a distinctive chorusing sound. This
technique gives the user truly different
right and left outputs for a superb stereo
effect from a single chorus unit. The right
andleft choruseffectsarederivedfromsepa-
rate chorus circuits and do not cancel each
other out if summed together. This unique
chomsing effect is unduplicatable even with
the use of two separate chorus units.

CONNECTING THE FX 67

Connect the lNPUT of the FX 67 to your
guitar with a 1 /4.inch mono phone plug.
Connect the OUTPUT of the FX 67 to your
amplifier with a 1 /44nch mono phone plug.

The FX 67 creates a stereo effect by
connecting directly to two different amplifiers
in a stereo setup. The FX 67 also creates
the stereo effect as the last effect unit is
a multiple effect setup. To eliminate the
need for a 9 volt battery, attach either the
DOD PS-3 or the DOD FX 105 power
supply to the 3.5mm A.C. adapter jack.

FEATURES

The FX 67 Stereo Turbo Chorus
is a fourcontrol chorus effect. The unit alters
adjustment of the sweep SPEED of modul-
ator A, the sweep DEPTH of modulator A,
the sweep SPEED of modulator B, and the
sweep DEPTH of modulator B.

The FX 67 Stereo Turbo Chorus also

DEPTH A and DEPTH 8: Sets the total
amount of modulator (delay time) variation
for the depth of the delay sweep.

FOOT SWITCH: Switches the chorus effect
lN/OUT of the signal path.

LED INDICATOR: Lights when the chorus
is enabled.

JACKS: lNPUT, OUTPUT 1. OUTPUT 2.
AC. ADAPTER. Use either the DOD PS-
3 or DOD FX-105 power supply to eliminate
the need for batteries.

OPERATION OF THE FX 67

The FX 67 Stereo Turbo Chorus effect unit
simulates the sound of several instruments
playing from one instrument. it does this
by delaying the sound of the original instru-
ment a small amount (4 to 6 milliseconds)
and oortinuously varying the amomt of dday.
Continuously varying the delay, sllgitly char»
ges the pitch of the delayed signal. The
FX67mb with the original signal resulting in the chorus

effect.

Pleasing chorus effects are a wrefu
balancedvaryingtheanmmddelaytime
(DEPTHlandthesrveepSPEED. Themes
useful chorus effects result from either a
slow sweep SPEED through a large delay
time variance (DEPTH), or a faster sweep
SPEED through a small delay time variance
(a shallow DEPTH). Too fast of a sweep
SPEED through a wide time variation DEPTH
results in an unpleasant warbly out of tune
sound. The sound of the

chorus effect is a matter of taste and will
change according to the type of music you
play. The biggest sounding chorus effect
results from using two amplifiers in a stereo
setup. The following are starting points for
