Press ZONEZ to switch the zone mode to the ZONEZ.
Press POWER 0) to turn on the ZONEZ power.
The - indicator on the display lights.
0 Also press input source select button when in standby mode, the
power turns on.
0 When POWER (9 is pressed, ZONEZ turns off.
0 Power in ZONE2 can be turned on or off by pressing ZONEZ ON/
OFF on the main unit.
Press the input source select button to select the input
source to be played.
The audio signal of the selected source is output to ZONEZ.
0 To perform an operation with the main unit, press ZONEZ
SOURCE.
Each time you press ZONEZ SOURCE, the input source changes.
Adjusting the volume
Use VOLUME AV to adjust the volume.
0At time of purchase, "Volume Limit" (@Qage 173) is set to "70
(-1 C(13)".

0 Turn MASTER VOLUME after pressing ZONEZ SOURCE on the main unit to
adjust the sound volume.

Auto Standby
When you do not perform any operation on this unit with no audio or video
input for a specified time, this unit automatically enters the standby mode.
Before it enters the standby mode, Auto Standby" is displayed on the
display of this unit and the menu screen.
60 min : The unit goes into standby after 60 minutes.
30 min : The unit goes into standby after 30 minutes.
Off (Default) : The unit does not go into standby automatically.
Front Display
Makes settings related to the display on this unit.
I Dimmer
Adjust the display brightness of this unit.
Show information about receiver settings, input signals, etc.
I Audio
Show the audio information for MAIN ZONE.
Sound Mode : The currently set sound mode.
Input Signal : The input signal type.
Format:The number of input signal channels (presence of front,
surround, LFE).
Sample Rate : The input signal's sampling frequency.
Offset : The dialogue normalization correction value.
Flag : This is displayed when inputting signals including a surround
back channel. "MATRIX" is displayed with Dolby Digital EX
and DTS-ES Matrix signals, DISCRETE with DTS-ES Discrete
signals.
Bright (Default) : Normal display brightness.
Dim : Reduced display brightness.
Dark : Very low display brightness.
Off : Turns the display off.

C You can also adjust the display by turning DIMMER on the main unit.
Dialogue normalization function
This function is automatically activated when playing Dolby Digital,
Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS and DTSHD sources.
It automatically corrects the standard signal level for individual
program sources.
The correction value can be checked using the STATUS on the main
unit.
