The Classé Four brings together world leading levels of engineering, highest quality parts and materials, and a never ending love

The Four employs sophisticated circuitry using reference quality parts including one percent custom metal-film resistors,
polystyrene and polypropylene capacitors, leading-edge printed circuit boards incorporating specially designed Classé UH C transfer
characteristics, and top quality custom controls and switches, with silver and gold contacts providing quiet trouble free operation.

The F our powersupply uses a high current toroidal transformer capable of several times the required power, 4 stages of regulation,
56,400 UF of filter capacitance, and features proprietary Classé ultrasonic filtering of both the ultra-high beta (current gain) main
output stage, as well as the local supply to the input difierential amplifier.

Balanced input circuitry, and the truly balanced high level section featuring completely discrete individual circuitry for both
positive and inverted, and left and right channels, can be operated simultaneously with the single ended main outputs, or seperately.

0n phono models, all gain stages and equalization feature zero feedback and a passive RIAA network. A precision resistor kit
included provides eleven difierent possible gain settings to accommodate various moving coil cartridges.

Extensive research into mechanical isolation of sensitive signal path circuitry, as well as controlled impedances and voltages,
dramatically reduced vibrations causing microphonics, resulting in previously unattainable levels of transparency, resolution of
detail, soundstage focus, and a clean natural timbre and harmonics.
