CAUTION:
Before retuming the unit to the customer, one of the following safety tests must be performed.

1. Check the leakage current. Connect the wit to 120 VAC supply and turn the power switch ON". Using
an ammeter, measure the current between the neutral side of the AC supply and chassis gromd of the
unit under test. If leakage current exceeds 0.5mA. the unit is defective.

Reverse the polarity of the AC supply and repeat.
2. Memure the resistance from either side ofthe linecord to chassis gromd. If it is less than 500k oi'ms, the
wit is defective.
WARNING - DO NOT retim the unit to thecustomer if it fails one of these tests until the problem is located
and corrected.
