Mark 6 Stereo Unit

The pleasures obtained lrom Hi-Fi sound rer
producing systems can be greatly enhanced
by the addition ot really top quality tape re-
cording eqmpment-but we must emphasise
that the tape machine must be a quality item
it it is to do justice to the Hi-Fi installation
and give satisfactory results

Brenell. who have a worldwide reputation tor
manutacturing high quality tape recorders,
have designed a new Tape Unit especrally
tor the HiFi enthusiast and contidently otter
this unit as a worthy addition to any Hi-Fi inr
stallation

Apart from the clean. modern styling. a great
deal ol attention has been devoted to the im-
portant parameters ol signal to noise ratio.
frequency response. wow and tlutter. cross-
talk and erasure levels to produce a QUALITV
unit. A/B switching is incorporated to enable
an immediate comparison between the re-
corded and the original sound. Mixing tacili-
ties enable comments to be included in the
recording.

A three-motor deck mechanism, the system
demanded by protcseional recording on
gineers. gives quiet tape transport at very
constant speeds. The electronics - two
recording and two tape replay pre-amps. are
lully silicon transistorised and compensated
tor tour tape speeds.

Large-scale illuminated meters clearly indicate
the recording level. The unit may be used in
the horizontal or vertical positions or mounted
in your Hl-Fi system
