Anwendungen

Der DT 48 Wird vor allem in Studios als Kontrollhorer eingesetzt. Auch fur Reporter
und Kamerateams gilt er als Standardausmstung zur Erganzung von DAT oder MD~
Recordern.

Charakteristik

- Durch die geschlossene ArbelLsWeise des Horers Werden Umgebungsgerausche
Wirkungsvoll ausgeblendet.

- Auswechselbare, Weiche Ohr- und Kopfpolster aus Softskin bieten einen hohen
Langzeithragekomfort.

- Der verstellbare Bugel hat ein velouNernickeltes Federstahlband und kann jeder
KopfgroBe angepasst werden.

Pflege

Aus hygienischen Grunden sollten Sie den Kopfhorer von Zeit zu Zeit mit einem
Weichen, feuchten Tuch reinigen. Verwenden Sie nur milde Reinigungsmittel
(z.B. Geschirrspulmittel), auf keinen Fall losemittelhaltige Reiniger. Achten Sie darauf,
dass kein Wasser in die Wandler lauft.

Da Ohrv und Kopfpolster einem naturlichen VerschleiB unterliegen, sollten sie von Zeit
zu Zeit ausgetauscht werden (siehe Ersatzteile).

Sicherheit

Wenn Sie den Kopfhorer an Ihren Verstarker anschlieBen, achten Sie darauf, dass die
Lautstarke (Volume) zunachst auf Minimum gedreht ist. Regeln Sie die Lautstarke erst
nach Aufsetzen des Kopfhorers.

lm allgemeinen wird mit Kopfhorern lauter abgehort als mit Lautsprechern, Hohe
Lautstarken konnen, sofern sie uber langere Zeit auf das 0hr einWirken, zu dauer-
haften Horschaden fuhren. Schonen Sie lhr gesundes Gehor , auch bei niedriger
Lautst'arke haben beyerdynamic-Kopfhorer ihren vollen Klang.

Applications

The DT 48 is primarily designed for monitoring use in recording studios. It is also used
in ENG/EFP applications as part of the standard equipment of field engineers requiring
exceptional performance to meet the standards set by DAT and MiniDisc portable
recorders.

Design Features

- The fully enclosed ear caps eliminate ambient noise, essential for accurate
monitoring.

- The headband and earphone cushioning systems have been carefully designed for
maximum wearing comfort and serviceability as We appreciate that the DT 48 Will be
used for long periods of time,

- The fully adjustable headband ensures a good fit even on the most demanding
locations.

Maintenance

As With any equipment which Will be used in close proximity to sensitive parts of the
body, it is essential that the ear pads and the headband are kept clean. Use a damp
cloth for cleaning the ear pads and headband using only gentle cleansing agents
(such as Washing-up liquid). Take care not to allow any Water drops into the
transducer elements and do not use any solvent cleaners.

Should it become necessary to replace the ear pads or the headband cushion, refer
to Spares".

Service
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, the headphone should be returned to your
beyerdynamic dealer.

Safety

When plugging your headphones into an amplifier, please make sure that the volume
control is set at minimum and is adjusted after they have been put on.

It is a common phenomenon to listen to music through headphones at high levels.
Please take into consideration that too high volume levels listened to over long periods
of time may lead to irrevocable hearing damage.

Entretien

pour vaisselle), mais en aucun cas des produits detergeants. Veillez a ce que leau ne
sinfiltre pas dans les systemes découte.

Etant donne que les oreillettes et le bandeau sont suiets a l'usure naturelle, ces
elements devraient etre remplace's de temps en temps (voir pieces de rechange).

Sécurité

Lorsque vous branchez le casque sur un amplificateur, Veillez a ce que le volume
d'écoute soit d'abord ramené au niveau minimum. Naiustez le volume decoute

Lécoute au casque se fait géneralement a un niveau plus e'levé quavec des haut-
parleurs. Sachez quune ecoute prolongee a niveau eleve peut entrainer des lesions
