III. DISASSEMBLY OF THE MAIN COMPONENTS

3) Disconnect the two connectors caretuity.

3-1. CD PLAYER BLOCK
sit Remove the CD PLAYER BLOCK before proceeding.

TRAVERSE MECHA

34-2. Replacement at the SLED MOTOR

1) Remove the TRAVERSE MECHA (refer to sodion 3-1-1)

2) Unsalder the leads or the SLED and SPINDLE MOTOR:
then remove the MOTOR PCS. 2

3) Remove the two retaining screws. then remove the SLED
MOTOR.
NexL extract the plastic gear Item the motor shalt and
attach it onto the new mator's shatt,

A) Roassemble in the reverse order.

About til. SFINDLE MOTOR:

Replacement at the SPINDLE MOTOR itself is not
recommended. because adjustment at me TURN TABLE
height is quite critical and requires the use at a special jig

3-1-3. Replacement at tho PICK UP BLOCK

I) Remove the TRAVERSE MECHA (rater to section 3-1 -1)r

2) While pressing the O stepper upwards. pull the SLIDE
SHAFT to the right to remove the PICK UP BLOCK. then
ropima the PICK UP BLOCK.

3) Raassornble in the reverse order.

3-14. Replacement 0' "I9 LOADING MOTOR
1) Slide the protruding part at Iha GEAR HOLDER PART in
the direclbn OI [ha armw, then pull (ml the TRAY BLOCK

2] Unhook the LOADING BELT with tweezers.

3) Unsolder the lead wires at the LOADING MOTOR with a
soldering iron.

4) While releasing the LOADING MOTOR': three retaining
hooks, push the motor putty pen down with your middle
finger to remove the LOADING MOTOR, then regime n.

5) Reassemtzie in the reverse order. Make sure that the wire
with the gray stripe is connected It: the melcrs O marked
terminal when soldering

3-1-5. Removal of the TRAY BLOCK

1) It the TRAY BLOCK is in the in" position, slide the
protruding pan otthe GEAR HOLDER PART in the direction
at the arrow and pullout the TRAV BLOCK slowly (rater to
Fig. 3-7;

2) In order to disengage the two stoppers. careiuily press
the ® pan at tho TRAY BLOCK downwards while pulling
the TRAY BLOCK out as shown in Fig. 3-10.
