THE CONCEPT:

Any noise that is induced over the signal path is automatically canceled at the
input of the amplifier. Therefore, induced noise is no longer a problem or
concern for car audio installers. In order to have a balanced system. you need
3 items: '
t: a Balanced Una Driver (GFl~5200).
2: a balancedntype able (2 pairs of RCA cables).
3: a balanced amplifier (Adcom amps).
The CPI-5200 Is a 2 channel Balanced Une Driver and is designed to
be used with the Adcom GPA-4302 and the GFA~4402 amplifiers. it converts 1
pair of RCA ables carrying biennium unbalanced signals to 2 pairs of RCA
cables carrying the leg and fight balanced signal. 1 single RCA cable carries
the posltive (HOT) signal and 1 single RCA cable carries the negative (COLD)
signal for each channel. It then delivers the balanced signal via 2 pairs of RCAs
to the amplifier. The amplifier accepts the balanced input and amplifies the
signal accordingly. canceling out any noise that may have been induced along
the way.

THE HOOKUP:
CRITICAL: ALWAYS INSTALL THE BALANCED LINE DRIVER AS
CLOSE TO THE SOURCE umr AS POSSIBLE!

(D Connect the RCA LQR 014mg of Sh: soumg unit to the male RCA
L&R input; gtthefiFl-fiZOQ. No extra RCA cables are needed for this. there is
enough cable to install the GFl-5200 in virtually any vehicle.

(D Select 2 pair of high quality RCA cables and attach the supplied
self-stick label to the appropriate ends (see Fig 1 below).

6) Connect one end of the A+ and A- RCA pair to the Balanced out
AH and A- RCA connectors of the GFi-5200. Connect one end of the 8+ and &
RCA pair to Balanced 23; 5+ mg 1 RCA connectors of the GFl-CZOO.

inputs on the amplifier. Connect the other end of the 6+ and 8- RC 'r to the
